Shopify Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-impact features on the Shopify platform, including themes (Liquid), interfaces (React/Next.js), and backend integrations (Node.js).
• Implement custom Shopify apps and extensions to enhance platform capabilities.
• Optimize web performance, focusing on loading speeds, technical SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems such as ERP, WMS, PSP, and CRM to ensure reliable data flows for orders, stock, and payments.
• Write clean, maintainable, and documented code while participating in code reviews and implementing unit and integration tests.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and agile teams to propose technical solutions that support business growth.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of professional web development experience.
• Significant experience working with Shopify, specifically with Liquid, themes, and apps.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React or Next.js.
• Strong understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with third-party system integrations (e.g., ERP, PSP).
• A rigorous mindset with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality code.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
• Familiarity with debugging complex data exchange issues in a large-scale ecosystem.
