Shopify Developer

Responsibilities

• Work with advanced Shopify features including metaobjects, virtual try-on experiences, and bundles functionality
• Maintain existing codebases and resolve day-to-day issues using Vue.js and Shopify
• Customize and extend Shopify functionality by adding modules and integrating third-party APIs
• Build new modules using Vue.js and integrate them into Shopify themes
• Perform code reviews, identify bugs, and ensure high-quality code standards
• Optimize website performance based on Google Lighthouse guidelines
• Act as a tech lead to collaborate with teams and improve development workflows
• Drive projects to completion by identifying roadblocks and collaborating with business partners

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Proficiency in Vue.js, React JS, or Angular
• Extensive expertise in Shopify development, custom themes, and app integrations
• Experience with backend technologies such as Ruby on Rails
• Proficiency with REST and GraphQL APIs
• Knowledge of GitHub, JIRA, and Agile methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Must reside in Chennai or Bangalore

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript, HTML, and CSS/Flex/Grid
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
