Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Build and maintain custom Shopify applications and backend functionalities
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, shipping providers, and ERP/CRM systems
- Optimize website performance, SEO, and page speed for high-performance eCommerce solutions
- Troubleshoot bugs, perform maintenance, and implement new features
- Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility across all devices
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions
- Follow best coding practices, version control, and documentation standards
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Shopify development
- Strong expertise in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Proven experience with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, and REST APIs
- Strong backend development experience specifically for Shopify app development
- Experience integrating payment gateways and shipping APIs
