Shop Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues on furniture
• Assemble new components and install parts according to specifications
• Conduct detailed inspections to identify wear, damage, or safety concerns
• Track and manage parts inventory and order replacement parts
• Communicate repair status and recommendations to management
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
• Support delivery resolution efforts by preparing reconditioned product for redeployment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Ability to stand for 90% of the time
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time
• Availability to work weekdays and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or retail experience
• Relative experience in furniture repair or restoration
