Shop Power Technician 2

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, and electrical distribution equipment
• Maintain and repair chillers, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors
• Troubleshoot equipment failures within the shop environment
• Work from the Phoenix, AZ service center with potential for overtime and weekend shifts

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 5+ years of experience with diesel/natural gas generators or commercial HVAC/chiller equipment
• Experience calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics
• Valid driver’s license
• Physical ability to move or lift objects, typically up to 75 lbs
