Shop Lead Power or Temp Control

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors
• Troubleshoot equipment failures within the shop and manage necessary repairs
• Set up and operate equipment at the service center, either independently or in coordination with other technicians
• Ensure all work is performed safely and meets company standards

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections and maintenance
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics
• Experience calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements
• Ability to lift or move objects typically weighing up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card if required by customer needs
