Shop Hand

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and match purchase orders to packing slips
• Update backordered quantities using ViewPoint Construction Software
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials from the warehouse
• Plan and coordinate shipments with administrative staff and 3rd party logistics companies
• Assist with inventory control, planning, and recording shortages or damaged goods
• Prepare shipping documents including work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (dollies, pallet trucks, etc.) safely
• Maintain daily cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience working in a warehouse setting
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Physical ability to lift at least 50lbs repetitively
• Knowledge of logistics, including carriers, shipping policies, and procedures
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift Certification
• Experience with ViewPoint Construction Software
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
