Shop Foreman

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of assembly and electrical integration leads and technicians
• Oversee the manufacturing of modular data centers and power distribution centers on 5 assembly lines
• Provide overall management for assigned projects, including safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost metrics
• Drive the application of Lean Manufacturing tools and concepts
• Develop and execute project strategy, production schedules, and resource plans
• Lead, mentor, and grow production team members to build a high-performing workforce
• Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Project Management to drive alignment
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes, including hazard analysis and safety procedures

Requirements

• Experience performing technical responsibilities within a manufacturing environment
• Skilled specialist with electrical and mechanical designs
• Experience in supervision and guidance of crews
• Ability to use judgment and initiative in resolving issues and making recommendations
• Ability to pass a background check and participate in drug and alcohol programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt
• Experience with Manufacturing MDC or PDC equipment
• Familiarity with Electrical and Mechanical designs
• Master Electrician license
