SHO in Acute Medicine

Responsibilities

• Manage acutely ill patients to ensure prompt and effective care
• Conduct initial assessments and develop treatment plans
• Manage various medical conditions under supervision of consultants and registrars
• Participate in daily ward rounds and clerk new admissions
• Perform necessary medical procedures
• Provide support and guidance to junior doctors and medical students
• Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement projects
• Contribute to the development of clinical protocols

Requirements

• GMC registration
• Proven experience in Acute Medicine
• Minimum 6 months NHS experience
