Shipping Technician

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outgoing shipments, including processing and printing bills of lading and necessary paperwork
• Receive goods in SAP, ensuring proper documentation, labeling, and storage
• Examine outgoing shipments for product defects and ensure quality standards are met
• Assemble and package products for shipment using appropriate protective padding and materials
• Label containers, reels, and boxes with correct shipping instructions and identifying information
• Perform inventory control tasks, including weekly, monthly, and yearly cycle counts
• Maintain a neat, orderly, and clean shipping yard and work area following 5S standards

Requirements

• At least 3 years of forklift experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment
• Basic computer skills with familiarity using MRP/ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus)
• Fluency in English (bi-lingual skills are a plus)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with variable weather conditions and noise levels
