Shipping Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track all shipments via FedEx, UPS, and other couriers to provide timely updates to leadership.
• Act as a primary liaison between national couriers and the organization to resolve delivery challenges and exceptions.
• Ensure shipment accuracy by monitoring delivery systems for correct destination addresses and timing.
• Proactively monitor weather patterns across the U.S. to mitigate potential delivery delays.
• Prepare shipping reports and follow procedures in client contracts to ensure accurate invoicing and credits.
• Coordinate return requests from clients and collaborate with the inventory supervisor on package retrieval.
• Participate in company quality initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Maintain compliance with privacy and security guidelines, including HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including quantitative analysis, pivot tables, and formulas).
• Experience using shipping and delivery platforms such as FedEx, UPS, or TForce.
• Strong ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities under deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional interaction with clients and providers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a shipping role.
• Previous experience working within a pharmacy or healthcare environment.
