Shipping Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage daily shipping operations, including coordinating shipments and verifying order accuracy.
• Supervise and train team members, including data entry auxiliaries and forklift operators, to ensure safe and efficient performance.
• Ensure all shipping processes comply with company policies, relevant laws, and safety regulations.
• Monitor and manage inventory of shipping supplies such as boxes, tape, and labels.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure orders are shipped on time and in full.
• Develop and implement new procedures to improve shipping efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of shipping activities and prepare reports on shipment volumes and delivery times.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of professional experience.
• Proven experience in a shipping or logistics role, including direct supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of shipping procedures and industry regulations.
• Proficiency in record-keeping and report preparation.
• Experience with shipping equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage diverse personnel.
