Shipping Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, train, and develop bargaining unit personnel in a fair and consistent manner
• Drive continuous improvement in warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, and facilities
• Supervise personnel to ensure efficient manpower utilization and assist with operational planning
• Administer provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and collaborate with union leaders to resolve shop issues
• Participate in cross-functional teams to support Lycoming Premier initiatives
• Ensure strict compliance with all company procedures and safety policies

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence work culture and drive organizational change
• Strong problem-solving, team building, and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or equivalent related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of general aviation engine and airframe applications
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles
