Shipping Representative/Loader

Responsibilities

• Manifest customer orders and verify products against packing lists to ensure accuracy.
• Pack orders neatly in boxes or envelopes to maintain product quality during transit.
• Identify and properly process hazardous materials (hazmat) shipments.
• Load trucks with customer shipments on skids using brick wall formation.
• Install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent product shifting or damage.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace by appropriately disposing of packaging materials.
• Report any errors in product selection or quantity to the appropriate team members.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, or move products up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Strong reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency with computers and ability to use tools like pallet jacks.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and differentiate products with similar characteristics.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or comparable work experience.
• Ability to pass machine driver safety training for required warehouse equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in basic warehousing or shipping operations.
