Shipping Representative/Loader

Responsibilities

• Manifest customer orders and verify products against packing lists to ensure accuracy.
• Pack orders neatly in boxes or envelopes to maintain product quality.
• Identify and properly process hazardous materials (hazmat) shipments.
• Load trucks with customer shipments on skids using brick wall formation.
• Install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent damage during transit.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace by appropriately disposing of packaging materials.
• Report any errors in product selection or quantity to the appropriate team members.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, or move products up to 75 lbs.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Strong computer skills and ability to use warehouse tools like pallet jacks.
• Ability to pass machine driver safety training for required equipment.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to differentiate products by size, color, or vendor code.
• Ability to work in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment, including occasional exposure to cold or dust.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in basic warehousing operations.
