Shipping & Receiving Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming shipments and raw materials for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications
• Evaluate products for defects or damages and take appropriate corrective actions
• Perform gluten testing on incoming ingredients
• Review and verify Certificates of Analysis (COA) to ensure regulatory compliance
• Verify outgoing shipment contents against purchase orders and packing slips
• Ensure proper labeling and packaging of all outbound shipments
• Document and track all inspection activities and maintain organized records
• Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and production departments to resolve quality issues
• Operate a forklift and adhere to all food safety and plant safety protocols

Requirements

• 1-2 years of related experience in shipping, receiving, or quality assurance preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Basic math skills and strong documentation abilities
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Experience with WMS and forklift operation is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
