Shipping/Receiving Specialist

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package contracted spare parts, sub-assemblies, and finished engines for national and international shipment
• Receive and sign for incoming freight, verifying counts and identifying materials
• Manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading and receivers
• Package and ship outgoing materials in accordance with specific shipping instructions
• Perform miscellaneous duties such as filing, retrieving paperwork, and receiving return goods
• Provide transportation services for local pickups and deliveries
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 6S standards
• Practice Total Quality Management to ensure product quality and schedule performance

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of related work experience in packaging, shipping, or receiving
• Proficiency with computer systems and keyboarding skills
• Experience with forklift operation
• Current driver's license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist and push/pull up to 60 lbs
• U.S. citizenship is required
