About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and package contracted spare parts, sub-assemblies, and finished engines for national and international shipment
- Receive and sign for incoming freight, verifying counts and identifying materials
- Manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading and receivers
- Package and ship outgoing materials in accordance with specific shipping instructions
- Perform miscellaneous duties such as filing, retrieving paperwork, and receiving return goods
- Provide transportation services for local pickups and deliveries
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 6S standards
- Practice Total Quality Management to ensure product quality and schedule performance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of related work experience in packaging, shipping, or receiving
- Proficiency with computer systems and keyboarding skills
- Experience with forklift operation
- Current driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist and push/pull up to 60 lbs
- U.S. citizenship is required
