Shipping & Receiving Specialist

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer shipments in compliance with aerospace documentation and certification requirements
• Use ERP software to track the lifecycle of heavy metal processing and material consumption
• Coordinate outside services (O/S) processing and shipments to external vendors
• Reconcile physical inventory against ERP data to eliminate stock discrepancies
• Perform Purchase Order (PO) verification, quantity verification, and inventory counts
• Investigate shipping damage, shortages, or receiving discrepancies
• Unload incoming materials, generate product labels, and stage materials for production
• Maintain product hold areas and manage customer-furnished gages and materials

Requirements

• 4+ years of Shipping & Receiving experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience working within an ERP environment utilizing backflush logic
• Experience using RF scanners or inventory scanning systems
• Strong understanding of material traceability and documentation accuracy
• Ability to review technical documents and blueprints
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk throughout a manufacturing shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace plating or metal finishing operations
• Forklift experience
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Experience coordinating outside processing vendors or subcontract services
• Experience with reporting systems such as Microsoft Power BI
