Shipping & Receiving Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of goods and materials, including unloading, inspecting, and verifying shipments against purchase orders
• Execute shipping operations by picking, packing, and preparing orders, assembling crates, and generating documentation
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and tracking inbound/outbound schedules
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Ensure warehouse areas remain clean, safe, and organized while following all safety protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years of relevant experience
• Active Secret-level security clearance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Physical capability to lift, move, and handle materials for repetitive tasks
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Costpoint MRP systems
• Certified forklift operator (standing and sitting)
• Familiarity with pallet scales, wrappers, and jacks
• Prior warehouse operations experience
