Shipping & Receiving Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming goods inspection, posting, and document processing
• Create quality-related system entries for discrepancies and communicate with relevant departments
• Prepare international shipping documents, including customs/export declarations (ZODIAK-ATLAS) and dangerous goods declarations (IATA, IMO, ADR)
• Package, seal, and verify goods for completeness and compliance with packaging regulations
• Track shipments and maintain contact with freight forwarders and internal stakeholders
• Participate in on-call services for urgent orders with additional compensation

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in warehouse logistics, warehouse management, or a similar field
• At least 2 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or freight forwarding
• German language proficiency at a B2 level or higher
• Solid written English skills at a B1 level
• Ability to pass a medical examination to obtain a forklift operator's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with standard software and inventory management systems, ideally SAP
• Existing forklift operator's license
• Valid Class B driver's license
• Ability to work independently and solve problems constructively
