Shipping/Receiving

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming unprocessed product, verify customer counts and lot numbers, and document any damages in the computer system
• Operate forklifts to remove palletized or floor-loaded products from trucks and move them to storage
• Move product throughout the facility to various processing areas using a forklift
• Remove samples from customer products and coordinate their shipment
• Shrink-wrap palletized finished products for customer return
• Coordinate with trucking companies to schedule pickups of finished products
• Load palletized products onto trailers using a forklift

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting motions
• Proficiency in computer use and ability to analyze data in databases or spreadsheets
• Must be medically approved for respirator use
• Ability to tolerate high heat and humidity (up to 120F and 60% RH)
• Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English

Preferred Qualifications

• 6-12 months of previous warehouse experience
• 6-12 months of experience operating a forklift
