Shipping/Receiving Operator

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and complete all shipping and receiving documentation, including customs and co-packer paperwork
• Maintain and update the Digital Dock Tracker with material movements and related data
• Dispatch carriers to appropriate dock doors to optimize loading and unloading processes
• Monitor and track inbound and outbound materials, including non-finished goods, finished goods, and recycling materials
• Create and monitor Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) for material movements
• Coordinate with forklift operators to ensure materials are delivered to correct production line doors
• Interface with Traffic, Customer Service, and QA departments to address order inquiries and quality issues
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2-4 years of experience in shipping/receiving operations preferred
• Proficiency in operating 5000lb – 6000lb capacity propane or electric forklifts
• Must be able to obtain company forklift certification within six months of hire
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Optilog, or SAP
• Strong organizational, planning, and mathematical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
