About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and complete all shipping and receiving documentation, including customs and co-packer paperwork
- Maintain and update the Digital Dock Tracker with material movements and related data
- Dispatch carriers to appropriate dock doors to optimize loading and unloading processes
- Monitor and track inbound and outbound materials, including non-finished goods and finished goods
- Create and monitor Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) for material movements
- Coordinate with forklift operators to ensure materials are delivered to correct production line doors
- Interface with Traffic, Customer Service, and QA departments to address inquiries and quality issues
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2-4 years of experience in shipping/receiving operations preferred
- Proficiency in operating 5000lb – 6000lb capacity propane or electric forklifts (certification required within six months of hire)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Competent reading, writing, and math skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior forklift experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Optilog, or SAP
