About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and complete all shipping and receiving documentation, including customs and co-packer paperwork
  • Maintain and update the Digital Dock Tracker with material movements and related data
  • Dispatch carriers to appropriate dock doors to optimize loading and unloading processes
  • Monitor and track inbound and outbound materials, including non-finished goods and finished goods
  • Create and monitor Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) for material movements
  • Coordinate with forklift operators to ensure materials are delivered to correct production line doors
  • Interface with Traffic, Customer Service, and QA departments to address inquiries and quality issues
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2-4 years of experience in shipping/receiving operations preferred
  • Proficiency in operating 5000lb – 6000lb capacity propane or electric forklifts (certification required within six months of hire)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Competent reading, writing, and math skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior forklift experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Optilog, or SAP
