Shipping & Receiving Loader

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and precautions in a manufacturing environment
• Assist CPU customers and scan loading documentation
• Take and upload loading photos
• Employ crating and packaging resources like metal bands and protective coverings
• Operate forklifts and other lifting equipment
• Manage trailer loads and assist with inventory counts
• Inspect work visually for defects according to Quality Systems
• Utilize scanning equipment and provide productivity improvement suggestions

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Minimum one year of related manufacturing or comparable work experience
• Basic computer skills and good communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds continually above shoulder height and below waist
• Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience
• Crane experience
