Shipping & Receiving II

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight efficiently and safely following all established procedures
• Manage the physical and electronic movement of products to assigned storage and bin locations
• Review daily shipping orders, run reports, and gather necessary products
• Complete all inbound and outbound shipments while minimizing damage and inaccuracies
• Process scrap conversions, shipping logs, bills of lading (BOL), and pick tickets
• Operate and maintain assigned forklifts, including completing daily logs
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and assist with storage area security
• Coordinate with the Purchasing Department on recycling tasks and maintain Min/Max stock quantities
• Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Shipping/Receiving role
• 1 to 2 years of forklift experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing facility
• Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong communication skills, including basic math and legible handwriting
• Ability to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as scheduled
• Flexibility to adjust working hours during heavy business days

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a bar-coding environment
