Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Responsibilities

• Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments for identification and damage control
• Coordinate and confirm receipt and shipping documentation for internal and external customers
• Serve as the primary point of contact for priority shipments
• Identify appropriate carriers and coordinate all shipping requirements
• Verify the accuracy of all incoming and outgoing shipments
• Identify and resolve any shipping or receiving discrepancies
• Maintain a Property Control System to ensure compliance with government and ITAR requirements

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or customer service environment
• 1+ years of experience in receiving, storing, picking, kitting, and shipping processes
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently during an 8-hour shift
• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Must meet U.S. Government Export Control compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with inventory control software
• Experience with military and commercial packaging and the handling of Dangerous Goods
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts (under 15,000-lb capacity), pallet jacks, or cranes
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with differing levels of importance
