Shipping Receiving Clerk

Responsibilities

• Ensure all shipping-related documents are completed accurately and in a timely fashion
• Communicate with outbound carriers via email regarding schedules and equipment needs
• Use a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to open/close shipments and prepare bills of lading
• Direct drivers and ensure they depart with the appropriate paperwork
• Maintain accurate data, records, seal logs, and load boards
• Assist with material handling duties including receiving, picking, packing, and loading
• Monitor trailer capacity and coordinate with spotters on trailer moves
• Resolve shipping discrepancies and assist leadership with administrative tasks

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to stand and walk for 10-12 hours per shift
• Ability to lift and move items weighing between 50-100 lbs
• Strong organizational, time management, and recordkeeping skills
• Ability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Bilingual skills (Spanish)
• Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
