Shipping & Receiving Associate

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming raw materials to ensure quality and accountability
• Enter transactions and maintain accurate records within the ERP system
• Unload incoming cargo trailers and containers while inspecting for damage
• Coordinate the supply of raw materials to and from production departments
• Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies to maintain accuracy
• Prepare and ship finished goods for domestic and international destinations
• Process shipments via UPS, FedEx, DHL, and other special carriers
• Maintain organization of the quarantine cage and recycled material areas
• Observe all safety, environmental, and quality system standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 6-12 months of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Proficient computer and typing skills for data entry into ERP systems
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 65 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to industrial machinery and changing weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• CDL License
• Experience operating a Yard Spotter
