Shipping Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Assemble boxes, crates, or containers for shipment
• Label and mark containers, inserting lining or padding to protect items during shipment
• Weigh, measure, and count product accurately
• Pack items according to shipping needs or supervisor specifications
• Complete clerical tasks using shop floor computers and RF equipment
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications and are undamaged

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attendance
• Some mechanical skills
• Ability to use shop floor computer and RF equipment
