About the role
Responsibilities
- Review work orders and select appropriate pieces for shipment
- Lift, push, and pull materials including windows and glass panes
- Transport materials on carts to the loading dock
- Verify work order accuracy before placing pieces into outgoing trailers
- Assist with loading trucks for shipment
Requirements
- Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32"
- Ability to lift 50 pounds continually above shoulder height and below waist
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, and working on concrete surfaces
- Ability to use computerized equipment and scanners
- Ability to read and interpret statistical data and written instructions
- Ability to work effectively in a 2-3 person team
