Shipping Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee the outbound shipping process and receiving finished goods from Packaging
• Monitor daily must-ship volume, urgent orders, and carrier cutoff times to ensure on-time departure
• Investigate and resolve shipping exceptions including missing packages and failed scans
• Ensure all required scans are completed to maintain package traceability
• Maintain strong communication between shifts and cross-functional teams
• Ensure all outgoing shipments are organized and staged before carrier pickup windows
• Lead a team of 18+ Shipping associates in a state-of-the-art facility

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment
• High level of comfort with digital tools and technology
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of inventory counts and manufacturing practices
• Experience with WMS, ERP, and/or MES/MRP systems
• Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with carriers such as FedEx, UPS, or DHL
• Experience managing carrier cutoff times and same-day shipping priorities
• Experience improving scan-based workflows and staging processes
