Shipping & Inventory Systems Technician

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing shipments, including inspecting equipment for damage and preparing hardware for deployment
• Maintain accurate inventory counts, perform cycle counts, and manage asset tracking records
• Configure network and endpoint devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and PCs
• Develop, modify, and execute configuration scripts using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or vendor CLI
• Deploy standard configuration templates and firmware updates while performing quality assurance testing
• Organize warehouse and staging areas and monitor inventory levels for restocking needs

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in shipping, inventory, or warehouse operations
• Experience with hardware staging and device configuration
• Working knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar)
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals including IP addressing, VLANs, and routing concepts
• Experience using asset management or inventory tracking systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience configuring network equipment (Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, etc.)
• Familiarity with automation tools or configuration management systems
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar technical certifications
• Experience working in an MSP or IT deployment environment
