Shipping Dock Lead

Responsibilities

• Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and timely
• Provide daily and weekly balancing of skilled labor across the shipping department
• Oversee material handlers to achieve performance objectives regarding safety, cost, service, quality, and efficiency
• Convey relevant information to Supervisors, Managers, and other employees
• Drive continuous improvement activities within the shipping department
• Create written and oral instructions for the shipping area
• Monitor and take action to meet company KPIs

Requirements

• Proven background in shipping operations
• Extensive knowledge of Manhattan WMS with the ability to train others
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Legal work authorization in the United States (sponsorship is not provided)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish
• Knowledge of ISO QMS
• Advanced proficiency in Manhattan WMS
