Shipping Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Arrange shipping and associated logistics requirements for all property
• Monitor and execute quote requests from shippers and service providers
• Assess shipment requirements including transport methods and packing
• Apply for CITES and other necessary regulatory licenses
• Coordinate with vendors for packing, local transportation, shipping, and security
• Prepare and submit accurate customs documentation to regulatory bodies
• Monitor shipment progress and troubleshoot issues with vendors
• Coordinate interoffice transfers to international offices
• Manage documentation and scan records in accordance with department procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 2-3 years of experience in shipping roles
• Fluency in English and German (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of logistics, packing methods, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in French
• Prior experience with fine art shipping
• Experience using SAP
