Shipping Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Enter data for shipping and receiving orders and resolve invoicing or inventory issues
• Ensure accuracy of transaction documents for all incoming and outgoing materials
• Evaluate shipments for adherence to state, federal, and global restrictions
• Serve as a resource manager system (SAP) expert for the team
• Schedule transportation for truckload and less than truckload shipments
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks, scanning, and tagging as needed
• Adhere to environmental, health, and safety rules and regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S+ principles

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in a logistics or warehouse environment
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand or bend frequently
• Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures
• Willingness to work daily and/or weekend overtime as needed
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Youngsville, NC (Active Duty Military exempt)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience using SAP
• Previous experience operating forklifts
• Basic working knowledge and experience with computers
