Shipping Clerk

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack, and process all outbound shipments accurately and on time
• Verify shipment contents against packing slips, purchase orders, and bills of lading
• Coordinate with carriers and freight partners to schedule pickups and track shipments
• Maintain accurate shipping records, logs, and databases
• Operate warehouse equipment including counterbalance and reach forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanning systems
• Utilize WMS, shipping platforms (ShipStation, UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager), and Microsoft Office Suite
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials and manage RMA documentation
• Communicate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and customer service teams
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse role
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on warehouse experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Proficiency with WMS, ShipStation, UPS WorldShip, or FedEx Ship Manager
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Valid forklift certification for counterbalance and/or reach truck
• Experience with domestic and international freight shipping and customs documentation
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
