Shipping Clerk I

Responsibilities

• Pick, package, and ship products according to specific work instructions
• Confirm orders and determine the most cost-effective shipping methods
• Prepare packages for carriers such as FedEx and UPS
• Organize packages on skids, wrap skids, and load trucks as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and productive warehouse environment
• Report all safety issues to the warehouse manager
• Ensure compliance with all quality, FDA, and medical device regulations

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions and procedures
• Basic math skills and proficiency with personal computers (WMS, spreadsheets, word processing)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and over 50 lbs with assistance
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, and walk throughout the warehouse
• Availability for overtime and weekend work when required
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
