Shipping Clerk

Responsibilities

• Manage the shipment of aviation spare parts and chemicals
• Prepare international shipping documentation, including customs/export declarations (ZODIAK-ATLAS) and dangerous goods declarations (IATA, IMO, ADR)
• Inspect incoming goods and ensure compliance with packaging regulations
• Create quality-related system entries for any discrepancies and communicate with relevant departments
• Track shipments and coordinate closely with freight forwarders and internal stakeholders
• Pack and seal shipments according to safety and industry standards
• Participate in on-call services for urgent orders

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in logistics, warehouse management, or a similar field
• At least 2 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or freight forwarding
• German language proficiency at a B2 level or higher
• Solid written English skills at a B1 level
• Ability to pass a medical examination required to obtain a forklift operator's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with SAP or other common inventory management systems
• Existing forklift operator's license
• Valid Class B driver's license
• A proactive, motivated, and independent working style
