Shipping Assistant

Responsibilities

• Prepare bottle orders, preservatives, and laboratory supplies
• Package and ship bottles and samples using appropriate couriers and procedures
• Complete required shipping paperwork and communicate with couriers
• Provide high-quality customer service to clients and couriers
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform sample pick-ups and deliveries as a driver when required
• Follow established safety regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Requirements

• High School graduation (some chemistry background preferred)
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to lift 50lbs and perform manual tasks
• Valid Provincial Class 5 driver's license
• Ability to work various shifts, including days, afternoons, graveyards, and weekends
• Ability to stand for full shifts and perform repetitive tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous laboratory experience
• Clean driving history
