Shipping and Receiving Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate a 30,000 lb. forklift and other heavy equipment to move steel material and transfer loads
• Unload incoming trucks and lift trailers to facilitate material movement
• Organize materials within the yard and during the loading process
• Follow all company safety rules and operational practices
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including picking up dunnage
• Perform other yard duties as assigned to support shipping and receiving operations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a 30,000 lb. forklift
• Ability to speak and understand both English and Spanish
• Ability to work various shifts and overtime as needed
• Dependability and a strong commitment to safety
