Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping and receiving operations by managing driver routes and dispatching vehicles
• Build and print daily routes, including shipping documents, route sheets, and barcode labels
• Dispatch drivers for extra or missed pick-ups and ensure routes are balanced
• Assist Customer Service with requests, route changes, and rescheduling
• Review driver paperwork, including VCR and logbooks, and file documentation accordingly
• Debrief drivers in accordance with written SOPs
• Complete consolidated manifests for trailer shipments
• Oversee and maintain DOT Log Files and Vehicle Condition Reports (VCR)
• Assist walk-in customers and support routine handheld/printer operations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of experience in transportation or logistics
• Knowledge of waste routing and the disposal of hazardous materials
• Knowledge of DOT, EPA, and State waste regulations
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
