Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Responsibilities

• Handle pricing, identify items by catalog number and description, and verify quantities on customer orders
• Conduct customer sales and service both in-person at the counter and via telephone
• Answer product and service questions to drive incremental sales and suggest additional products
• Assist customers with product application, features, benefits, and proper maintenance
• Resolve product or service issues by clarifying complaints, determining causes, and explaining solutions

Requirements

• Experience in a customer-facing role within a retail or service environment
• Ability to read schematics and determine parts needed for specific tool repairs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
• High degree of integrity, accountability, and dependability
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
