Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Responsibilities

• Prepare and ship outgoing merchandise by packaging, weighing, labeling, and maintaining daily shipment logs
• Confirm orders in the computer database and print packing lists and Certificates of Conformance
• Load and unload shipments using hand trucks or conveyors
• Receive shipments by verifying part numbers, amounts, and specifications against purchase orders
• Move received material to appropriate storage locations or interdepartmental areas
• Maintain organized files for sales orders, receiving reports, and packing slips
• Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, orderly, and conducive to material control
• Adhere to all company safety procedures and policies

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1–2 years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Hands-on experience with UPS and FedEx shipping systems
• Basic computer proficiency, including ERP systems and data entry
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic math calculations
• Must be a "U.S. person" as defined by ITAR/EAR regulations
