Shipper/Receiver/Driver

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders with high attention to detail
• Receive, verify, and put away incoming vendor material and customer returns
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
• Load and unload trucks and secure loads for transport
• Perform deliveries and pickups at customer and vendor locations
• Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain driver logs
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards
• Assist teammates with customer service at the counter

Requirements

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
• Clean driver's abstract
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle regulations and the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act
• Ability to operate a delivery vehicle and learn forklift operation
• Intermediate math skills and strong verbal communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience driving a truck and making deliveries
• Knowledge of plumbing and building products
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
