Shipper/Receiver

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments of automotive truck parts against invoices and bills of lading
• Package, skid, and load shipments for common carriers and parts transfers
• Complete all necessary paperwork, including customs documents, hazardous forms, and courier forms
• Operate forklifts and hand trucks to move shipments within the warehouse and onto transport vehicles
• Unpack incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and record shortages
• Post received items into ADP/CDK inventory systems and ensure proper bin locations
• Assist with bin maintenance and cycle counting as required

Requirements

• Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role
• Experience operating a forklift (counterbalance or towmotor certification is an asset)
• Completion of a Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid G Driver’s License with a clean driving record and abstract
• Ability to perform heavy lifting throughout the shift
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check
