Shipper Receiver

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other equipment to load/unload trucks and transport materials between departments
• Pull finished products from inventory, assemble orders, and prepare them for shipment
• Receive inbound materials, including raw materials and operating supplies, and transfer them to appropriate storage
• Count and examine materials to verify completeness against documents and check for damages
• Use barcode scanners to maintain inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts
• Match materials against bills of lading and report any discrepancies to supervisors
• Maintain a clean and safe work location in compliance with company housekeeping policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• At least 6 months of experience in forklift operation
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts and overtime as necessary
• Ability to maintain an excellent attendance record
