Shipper/Receiver

Responsibilities

• Sort, verify, record, and route incoming and outgoing shipments
• Operate and read hand-held RF units to find, move, and allocate material
• Use SAP resource management system to process all incoming and outgoing freight
• Prepare items for shipment by assembling containers, posting weights, and affixing paperwork
• Interface with shipping office, customer service, drivers, and carriers to ensure proper delivery
• Coordinate required emergency shipments and requests during non-work hours
• Drive and maintain forklifts through daily inspection checklists
• Perform 5S+ housekeeping duties and report equipment malfunctions

Requirements

• Minimum two years of experience in a logistics or warehouse environment
• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the work location

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using SAP or other warehouse management systems
• Basic understanding of Microsoft applications
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
