Shipper/Receiver

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming materials, verifying accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders
• Inspect shipments for damages or defects and notify supervisors of any discrepancies
• Prepare, pack, and ship sample bottle orders and preservatives to clients using appropriate couriers
• Manage sample reception, including sorting, archiving, and disposal
• Pre-prepare sample kits and maintain inventory of sample bottles
• Perform delivery and pick-up of samples
• Complete required shipping paperwork and maintain communication with couriers
• Maintain a clean work area and comply with all health and safety policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in a warehouse or fast-paced environment
• 1 year of experience specifically in shipping and receiving
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Valid provincial Class 5 driver’s licence
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) on a regular basis
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, bending, and kneeling for a full shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous forklift licence or experience
• Customer service experience
