About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipping, receiving, and warehouse logistics, including transportation and trucking coordination.
- Perform data entry for packing list generation and maintain shipping logs for accounting and sales.
- Prepare documentation for international shipments, including commercial invoices, proforma invoices, and certificates.
- Assist with customs clearances and the in-house packing program.
- Verify all materials staged for shipment and inspect incoming work orders from manufacturing.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to assist in various warehouse functions.
- Maintain reporting matrices for shipment levels and coordinate with inventory personnel.
- Communicate effectively with Assembly, Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Purchasing departments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3-5 years of experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse coordination.
- Proven experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Basic computer knowledge and basic math skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow detailed instructions.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift/push/pull materials as required in a warehouse environment.
