About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in a 600-hour professional training course in Genoa to prepare for life at sea
- Successfully complete the selection process and training to qualify for a Ship Cook position
- Prepare and deliver high-quality culinary services to guests on board the Costa Crociere fleet
- Maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene in a maritime environment
Requirements
- Operatore dei Servizi di Cucina qualification (two or three-year program) OR a high school diploma in gastronomy/hospitality
- Alternatively, a general high school diploma plus at least 6 months of kitchen experience (including internships/stages)
- Fluency in both Italian and English
- Must be of legal age
- Open to unemployed individuals, inactive persons, and both EU and non-EU citizens with valid residence permits
