Ship Cook

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 600-hour professional training course in Genoa to prepare for life at sea
• Successfully complete the selection process and training to qualify for a Ship Cook position
• Prepare and deliver high-quality culinary services to guests on board the Costa Crociere fleet
• Maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene in a maritime environment

Requirements

• Operatore dei Servizi di Cucina qualification (two or three-year program) OR a high school diploma in gastronomy/hospitality
• Alternatively, a general high school diploma plus at least 6 months of kitchen experience (including internships/stages)
• Fluency in both Italian and English
• Must be of legal age
• Open to unemployed individuals, inactive persons, and both EU and non-EU citizens with valid residence permits
